Cat Street is more of a growing up and discoverying yourself, friendship story for me than anything else. Which is probably one of the major reasons I like it. People who know me know I have a weakness for friendships, as it is one of the few things I hold dear IRL. Have been meaning to rec this series to the flist, but we all know I'm rather bad at proper rec posts and that I'm lazy as hell, but since dreamlessness has gone and recced this series on her LJ, I'll just go and point you all over to [her post about it]. AAH! More Saiyuki Gaiden chapters finally. Printed on the July issue of Zero-Sum. *_* Must. Get. Don't have money to subscribe, but omfg, if someone knows anyone scanning the pages in I will love you forever. *starts stalking Saiyuki comms* Or if anyone is willing to scan the pages in I will love you even more. I mean.. I'm sure some Loveless fans on my flist is subscribed to ZS? *hopeful* I RETURN TO STALKING CAT'S DREAMS NOW.

WHAT?! What!? Apparently Saiyuki Gaiden printed in WARD (Zero Sum's sister publication) and not in Z-S itself. I DO NOT KNOW WHERE TO STALK. WOE.

This also reminds me how very behind I am with the Saiyuki manga. I stopped following in the middle of the Against the Stream arc, so I'm a long ways behind and have no idea who these people are in the most recent Reload chapters I'm seeing. But, don't care. Want to see the Gaiden chapter. ;_;

So, I stopped reading Death Note around this time last year, which means I only got to read upto about ch.12 or less (it's been so long I really don't remember). I've not gotten around to picking up the title again, so I've been avoiding spoilers for this series. Now earlier this month, I faintly recall a lot of people reacting to some event happening in ch.58 and I was really curious except I couldn't spoil myself because I was really behind and heck, we hadn't even gotten to see L's face yet when I stopped reading the manga. So I killed that curiousity until I actually got around to reading more DN.

Now, starlighter's recent post mentioned pretty L and Raito dolls over at death_note and since I'm a real sucker for the pretty, I thought I'd hop on over and look anyway. The most recent post - which I skimmed over - had this minor "spoiler" referring to L and Raito's hugging scene in ch.58, and my initial reaction was somewhere along the lines of a very outraged PLEASE DON'T TELL ME THAT'S WHAT EVERYONE'S BEEN MAKING A BIG DEAL OUT OF!

So now I ask, someone please tell me that that was not it, because that just killed all desire to pick up this series again in the near future. If only because I was really expecting some omfgwow Urasawa-esque plot twist (though hey, I'm not stupid, it's kind of hard to outdo Urasawa in that regard), and if that was the only reason I think I'm going to cry.

If it isn't, no spoilers please, I just had to ask to keep me sane.

In other news, I've picked up FMA again. (Yea, I stopped following a lot of series' last year.) I knew all about episode 25, didn't stop me from crying though.

I swear I will delete this and write a proper post when I can talk about the latest Naruto chapters without the urge to fangirl every five seconds.

I know I've seen others in my flist mention it, but I only paid attention when hyukta mentioned the twins. >D (Yea, one of the keywords to make me sit-up and take notice. ;P) Incestuous twins aside, I did like the story (of what little I've seen). I love the main character and basically nearly everyone in it. Which is rare in nearly any given series, and even more so in shoujo manga.

Come now, a private school for the extremely rich, whose classes are separated by pedigree and which has a host club comprising of six beautiful young boys with a mix of varying personalities and twisted humor. Enter unwitting commoner studying at the school on a scholarship who accidentally breaks an 8 million yen vase and is then forced to work on the host club to pay the debt. Sound like fun? Extremely. ;D

It really sucks when you're behind on a series. You don't get to fangirl with everyone else. I noticed that everyone in my flist (well those that read Naruto anyway), was all squealy happy about this chapter. I was of course avoiding spoilers, and I was not expecting anything like this at all. I can understand what everyone was so happy about.

I LOVE KISHIMOTO MASASHI. He reminds me why, despite everything else, no matter how many series' I get into in between, I will keep coming back to this series. (And with my amazing attention span, loving a series this much for over 3 years is a feat.) It's like coming home really, after being led astray. <3

Naruto. I love this series to bits, and every chapter that comes out just reminds me time and time again why I do. And why I love the characters in it. Each character's strength is so different from each others, and well, I just wanted to say that SHIKAMARU KICKS SO MUCH ASS!!!

I never really comment on Naruto chapters anymore, because mostly my fangirling has been taken away by the PoT manga chapters. And because if I ever talked about Naruto, I wanted it to be more than senseless fangirling, which they would have been. Geez, you would have been littered with "Neji so cooool!" and "Sasuke must die!" and "Shikamaru rabuuuu!" so many times in the past couple of weeks you'd be asking me to shut up. ;P

Correct me if I'm wrong, but none of the Seigaku members know about the Ryoma vs Kirihara match correct?

No other reactions on this chapter. Fandom has made me prickly where it involves the Fuji vs Kirihara match, so I probably won't be commenting throughout the entire S2 match. I'm just sick and tired of reading about people not liking Kirihara. I can understand why, but logic doesn't help me from getting annoyed. I mean, I want to see Fuji kick some Rikkai!ElfBunny butt, but I don't dislike Kirihara, and I actually do like the little imp more than I like Fuji, so yea.

If someone was getting protective because I was hating her bitchsmacking dorky poo Sanada (:P) then I suppose the same can be said with me involving Kirihara. Though I don't really care if people don't like him, I just don't want to know.

Geez. You'd think the world would have had enough fangirling from me regarding these chapters. >.> It's just that it makes a world of difference when you actually see the chapters, and even more so when you can finally understand everything that's being said.

I will save you from going through yet another AIM fangirling session between caillen and I. This time I try to be coherent, except I kind of fail.

In more boring news, my C drive has decided to crash on me. And I couldn't reinstall my OS on it, so I installed WinXP on my D drive instead, which enables me to boot the system which is all that's important at the moment. I can still access my files on C, so I can still back them up, as soon as I can find a CD-burning software I can use, as Nero refuses to install right now. >.> I think I can still recover e-mail, but it's one of the last things on my mind right now, so I'm sorry if replies are delayed again.

bang_squared referred to it as Yanagi pulling a Fuji during the Fudomine match. So naturally, I don't CARE that it's in Chinese, I wanted to [SEE]. I remember I expressed the desire to see just this a week or so back during a reply to someone's post. Konomi makes me happy. ^__^ Although we might never see it again. I have iconage, but I'm not uploading it as of yet as some may consider it a bit of a spoiler. ^^;;;

I wibble! caillen!!! Go back online NOW so I can give you link and wibble with you damnit! How long does it take to add memory to that computer? =/

My not-so-secret crush on Yanagi is definitely-not-so-secret anymore. Damn the boy. Wibbling too much. You can rest assured the wibbling will last only upto the end of Singles 3 though, as Yanagi is the last Rikkai member I really wanted to see play.

And yes, I'll probably fangirl some more when FET comes out with the chapter.

Just a question, because my memory fails me on this one. Are we given any more information on Kimimaro other than what's shown on this chapter? I seem to recall this was mentioned in passing in one of the earlier chapters, but other than that? Was he from Konoha as well? What happened to him?

I've been slacking on Naruto. >.> Damn you, PoT. Damned Hyotei and Rikkai boys, this is all their fault.

And because I never mentioned it on the LJ, the recently concluded Kidoumaru vs. Neji fight reminds me exactly why it is I was so smitten by Neji in the first place. Lots of love for the boy. He now sits a solid second place behind Shikamaru as favorite Naruto character. (He used to battle second place with Gaara. ^^) I don't even bother to try ranking Naruto, because I just adore the boy no matter what.

I love how the rasengan won top rank on the Jutsu ranking though. And Byakkugan got 6th! Neji placed 6th on the character poll as well, and Hinata a surprising 12th place. I like Hinata, but I'm rather surprised she placed so high on the ranking. Oh, oh! And Shikamaru! 4th place!!! Sasuke won third place from him by a measly 143 votes. =/

....... I don't have a single Naruto icon. So I'm going to use Luffy instead, since One Piece battles Naruto as favorite shounen series at the moment. Yea, doesn't seem like it huh? Since I talk about Prince of Tennis most of the time. Oh well. [Edit:] And FMA! I have lots of love for FMA. I'm not very decisive, am I? heh.

Next time, I will talk about Eyeshield 21, because I want to and I can. And since I've just sl0red caillen into trying it, I might as well try getting other people on the flist to try it too.
