5th-May-2003 04:12 am - layout set
Real men wear pink-rimmed glasses
Alright, I not only do icon sets, I do layout sets as well. -_- I finished this set early April. I've only put it up now because I created the set with the full intention of putting it up on May 5. ^^ (I'm a few hours early for those on the other side of the globe, but it's May 5 where I'm at.)

monochromatic.org First things first. Yet another black and white layout for monochromatic.org. I liked the Neji layout a lot, because it had guns and you can't go wrong with cool looking men holding guns. :P But this particular panel of Hikaru in the manga was really screaming for a layout. So I had to make a layout for it. All happiness for the b&w layout whore. Honestly though, it's much harder to come out with a clean and simple layout then it is a text heavy, graphic noisy layout. This was a pain to make.

It was really about time I came out with a new layout for my blog, instead of recycling old ones. I haven't made a new blog layout since January I think, but now I have. And it's all brown and I am very biased to earth tones. So I like my color theme and so should you (or not). I had this really nifty idea for a layout for this image, but I couldn't quite pull it off.

Err. I finished the design for this before I realized that I had to give space for the user icons. I could decide not to include it, but I like seeing everyone's user icons and it makes identifying posts easier. I wonder how long I can stand staring at a black and white page every day.

So anyway. Happy Boy's Festival and all. ^_~v This set was meant to be in honor of the day Sai disappeared, but I guess now it also doubles for the ending of the Hikaru no Go manga series. XD

PS. I really should have a new icon to match, but I didn't think of that until now. And I ought to be sleeping now.
29th-Mar-2003 10:28 pm - hosting & (sort of) new blog layout
Real men wear pink-rimmed glasses
The people I'm currently hosting (Yes, all three of you. I am thankful I don't offer to host that many people) are going to kill me. I'm going to have to ask all of you to haul ass and move domains. Since you all seem to be hosted on different domains (Tchan on ne.com, Eks on abscedere.com and Tor on monochromatic.org), I decided to keep a separate domain purely for hosting purposes (I also use it for dumping trial runs on my own sites).

I'm currently short on domain names I want to get, so I'm thinking of just keeping abscedere.com and use it for hosting. *gets killed* Anyway, this is meant to be a heads up to [info]daeas and [info]refracting about the domain change.

I'm really sorry Tor, I know you'll have to change all those URLs on northmark now because of this. -_- I haven't made the changes yet, I'll wait until I catch you on AIM before I do so. Tchan, your site will be up on ne.com until the domain expires in May. I can do the file transfer myself, since you'll probably just kill your ISP in the process.

http://twelve-kingdoms.net is still available. I know it's completely unoriginal and why couldn't I think of a niftier domain for the Juuni Kokki site you ask? Because I couldn't. Suggestions are always welcome. The JK site is nowhere near being ready for public viewing anyway. Or maybe I could make my life easier and just include it in monochromatic.org as a subdomain. You know, IF I ever get around to finishing this site, which I now dub as the Website That Ate My Life. And I thought nothing could ever beat the headache and the hours and hours and hours of slaving around that the YRPG website put me through.

As much as I love Enki (and Shoryou), I was getting sick and tired of the JK layout. All that blue was starting to get on my nerves. I've been wanting to change my layout for days now, and I finally had the time to work on a new layout today. Except I wasn't feeling up to creating a new blog design, so here I am again recycling old blog layouts and because I have a very unhealthy attachment to Goku I'm reusing the Goku layout I made from that delicious pic of him from the November ZS issue.
8th-Mar-2003 12:06 am - JK layout goodness
Real men wear pink-rimmed glasses
I'm an idiot. Now I know why pMachine ate my blog. It didn't. While in the process of clearing out my unused SQL databases, I deleted the database I used for my blog. So see, this is all actually my fault. *bangs head on wall*

On the layout front though, I went ahead and put up my old JK layout for my livejournal. (Enki! Shoryou!) It looks exactly the same, but go lookit because Enki and Shoryou deserve to be ogled. The old mp3s are still up, I'll be rotating them this weekend.

Next week, I will really really get off my lazy arse and find time in between my schedule to go to the post office and actually mail everyone (Yasmin, Joy & Tor) their packages. Except now I don't know what to send Yasmin because I think you've managed to get ahold of some of the series' I'm supposed to send you.

Piano 6 out, yey! Off to get my dose of uber cute happy shoujo fluff. And Naruto 22.
