Tenjou Tenge has already been licensed by Geneon Entertainment (formerly Pioneer), so it looks like it's left to downloading raws for this series. Which can be a rather big pain at the moment, with my server capping its download speed at 30kbps (!@$@#%!#$%!#^%&) and if the first episode is anything to go by, that's 300+mb downloads per episode. I'm so behind on my downloads. ;_; Stupid server! Edit: Looks like anime-station will be subbing Tenjou Tenge.

And my BT refuses to download anything. 'I am not amused' is an understatement. And Monster starts airing this week. -_- IRC downloads are just fine (albeit still limited at 30kbps max), but this also means I don't have downloads running while I'm away from the PC for extended periods of time. Since I can't queue IRC downloads to get one after the other, and with new releases, you barely have to queue before your download starts anyway.

Naruto. I love this series to bits, and every chapter that comes out just reminds me time and time again why I do. And why I love the characters in it. Each character's strength is so different from each others, and well, I just wanted to say that SHIKAMARU KICKS SO MUCH ASS!!!

I never really comment on Naruto chapters anymore, because mostly my fangirling has been taken away by the PoT manga chapters. And because if I ever talked about Naruto, I wanted it to be more than senseless fangirling, which they would have been. Geez, you would have been littered with "Neji so cooool!" and "Sasuke must die!" and "Shikamaru rabuuuu!" so many times in the past couple of weeks you'd be asking me to shut up. ;P

Correct me if I'm wrong, but none of the Seigaku members know about the Ryoma vs Kirihara match correct?

No other reactions on this chapter. Fandom has made me prickly where it involves the Fuji vs Kirihara match, so I probably won't be commenting throughout the entire S2 match. I'm just sick and tired of reading about people not liking Kirihara. I can understand why, but logic doesn't help me from getting annoyed. I mean, I want to see Fuji kick some Rikkai!ElfBunny butt, but I don't dislike Kirihara, and I actually do like the little imp more than I like Fuji, so yea.

If someone was getting protective because I was hating her bitchsmacking dorky poo Sanada (:P) then I suppose the same can be said with me involving Kirihara. Though I don't really care if people don't like him, I just don't want to know.

Mura, you were wrong. This wasn't a Fuji episode. It was a Mizuki episode. XDDD At least, he was the highlight of the whole thing. muscatlove has a summary of the episode [here].

I had more off-court shots than I did of Kirihara and Fuji combined. ^^;;;

Edit: Fixed the link. Also, if anyone makes it to the color wheel room (level 7), were you able to get out of it? Because I am STUCK. The teleporter keeps giving me a mixture error. I cannot for the life of me figure out why. I would like to know if someone's made it out, just so I actually know there is a way out of it short of cutting off an arm and a leg and promising your first born child to it.

This is the result of watching Tenipuri 122 with caillen and me crying out "Mizuki!" when Kirihara came on screen. (Yes, I knew it was Kirihara, but they look so alike, especially when Kirihara's being evil.)

And I now have my ULTIMATE TENIPURI PAIRING! And don't call it crack, because it's canon, really. And I have proof!

Eh. I was supposed to make a Gokusen post on episode 8, as well as a media post, but that sort of got put aside for this. You didn't actually think I'd skip the Yanagi and Inui episode, did you? ;P

The highlight of the episode is of course, the flashback scene. It's the reason I actually took the time to watch it. I loved it. I love the expression on Yanagi's face which we never get to see in the manga. It's his 'I don't want to leave' expression that just makes you want to cuddle him and take him home and promise him he'll never have to leave Inui's side and his parents are evil evil people for even thinking about it.

I don't know whether to be amused or horrified at the fact that Yanagi actually ran away from Inui just when he was trying to tell Inui he was leaving. It was so... so... a cheesy romance love confession gone wrong. Oshitari would have had a blast with these two.

Well alright, admittedly, I loved it. I loved the wrongness of it and because it made me squee anyway. *dies* I think what I liked about it the most was that it actually shows that Yanagi actually cared that he was leaving. I know this is shown in the manga, but Yanagi always has his head turned so you never see the expression on his face. I loved how Yanagi just turns his head to look back at Inui to smile at him and wave goodbye without telling him he's leaving, as I don't really imagine young boys like dramatic goodbyes. I like the anime adaptation of it if only because it feeds the fangirl in me, and it doesn't really ruin the tennis match. (I am purposely ignoring the matches in the anime now and pretending they do not exist, seeing as I barely lived through the D2 match without wanting to kill someone.)

In more boring news, my C drive has decided to crash on me. And I couldn't reinstall my OS on it, so I installed WinXP on my D drive instead, which enables me to boot the system which is all that's important at the moment. I can still access my files on C, so I can still back them up, as soon as I can find a CD-burning software I can use, as Nero refuses to install right now. >.> I think I can still recover e-mail, but it's one of the last things on my mind right now, so I'm sorry if replies are delayed again.

bang_squared referred to it as Yanagi pulling a Fuji during the Fudomine match. So naturally, I don't CARE that it's in Chinese, I wanted to [SEE]. I remember I expressed the desire to see just this a week or so back during a reply to someone's post. Konomi makes me happy. ^__^ Although we might never see it again. I have iconage, but I'm not uploading it as of yet as some may consider it a bit of a spoiler. ^^;;;

I wibble! caillen!!! Go back online NOW so I can give you link and wibble with you damnit! How long does it take to add memory to that computer? =/

My not-so-secret crush on Yanagi is definitely-not-so-secret anymore. Damn the boy. Wibbling too much. You can rest assured the wibbling will last only upto the end of Singles 3 though, as Yanagi is the last Rikkai member I really wanted to see play.

And yes, I'll probably fangirl some more when FET comes out with the chapter.

Edit: Yanagi used to smile, which he no longer does. Waah! You've been hanging around Sanada too long, Renji.

Yea, whatever. I hated what they did to the match. Everything I loved about the Jackal & Marui vs Momo & Kaidou match simply wasn't there. I'd rant, but I don't see the use of it. I was expecting changes, but uhm.. ew? I envy isachi and everyone else who can be horribly amused by this. ;_; I want to be amused too!

So just so you know, if you're only watching the TeniPuri anime, I'd strongly suggest picking up the manga as well, but that's only because I can't stand the thought of people not seeing the coolness that is Rikkai. ^_^v And Momo and Kaidou also had such wonderful moments (not slashy moments, darnit!) in the manga that doesn't turn over to the anime. It's possible it'll show up in the latter episodes, but I'm not keeping my hopes up.

That aside, I was much amused by fanboying Jirou anyway. ♥

No clips, no screencaps. Don't feel like it. I swore I'd never complain about AniPuri, but there you have it. Sorry, I couldn't help it. ^^;;

Well, that was rather anti-climatic. Seeing as I was looking forward to at least seeing the Doubles 2 match start, which we don't. My only consolation about Rikkai in the PoT anime is that what I was looking forward to the most is finding out the seiyuu for the rest of the Rikkai members.

I was trying not to read my flist until I got the episode (w/c took so long because my BT was refusing to go above 20kbps more than half the time) but other than the premature fangirling over Marui's seiyuu (Takahashi Naozumi! Yachiyo, Kailing, and SJen have some of his songs available for download. Go now and leech!), I really had nothing much to go on from the random skimming other than having the impression that Yukimura sounded really feminine. Something which had me vastly annoyed, disappointed and ranting last night. (Much to Rij's consternation, as I called her up at 1am just to rant about it. ;D Yes, lucky for all of you, most of my ranting and fangirling is done IRL.)

After having seen the episode though, Yukimura doesn't sound as feminine as I was dreading expecting, soft-spoken, a lot like Fuji really in that aspect. His seiyuu actually reminds me of Paku Romi in some (very few) parts, very very mildly, but still. (It's my only little comfort in regards to Yukimura, alright?) But other than that....

OMG! MARUI! NIOU! YAGYUU! YANAGI! O_O ;_; #_# *RABU!* ANG JOLOGS NI MARUI AT NI NIOU!!! *dies of the cute!* I love Marui and Niou's voices, but am I the only one who thinks that gorgeous as Yagyuu's voice is, he sounds just a little bit too.... lively? Which is of course a welcome break from Sanada's dire monotone, but not something I was expecting. Marui's hair is still a ghastly bright red hue, but compared to Yagyuu's Dye Project Gone Wrong, Marui's hair is almost acceptable.

Other than the voices, there's not really much else to react to. I didn't like the episode, but hearing Marui all but made up for it. ^_~

BTW, Rikkai uniforms = ugly mustard yellow

The funny thing is, the origin of this whole mess and the counter-origin of it isn't even on my friends list. I've been offline from AIM for the past two days. How do you suppose I found out about it? Because I've been seeing mention of it everywhere else ON my friends list. I love you people, but we're not really doing anything to make it better are we?

Kyaah! I was just about to go to bed when I saw that muscatlove already had Marui's profile translation up. You're a darling, thank you!

Now, for some quick reactions, as I can't really spend all night fangirling as caillen will kill me if I oversleep tomorrow.

1) April 20? April 20?!?! He's one day too late from being an Aries. Dude, Aries people are the bomb. (You can tell what my zodiac is, can't you?) But I generally get along with bull-headed Taurus anyway, I knew he'd be lots of fun.

2) 164cm. Alright, that's not very tall, but I wasn't expecting him to be anyway, at least he's taller than Gakuto.;P

3) Hobby: Going to hotel buffets - Rij and I were just discussing this the other night, as she'd found a brief translation for the profiles somewhere else, except the hobby was translated as "biking to hotels", which of course had us howling like mad and making up various, crazy little reasons for why his hobbies would be biking to hotels. Food was of course the most logical, but we had fun entertaining the thought of Marui becoming a bartender in the hotel lounge, having Niou playing darts and Yagyuu sitting in a comfy little spot reading a book. Kirihara would also be there from time to time with a suddenly materiliazing pinball game or whichever off in the corner. Obviously, our perfect little Rikkai group only include this four, kthnx. Oh, and Jackal too from time to time.

4) Best subjects: Kokugo (Japanese), music - The fact that Marui has Japanese as a favorite subject just had us thinking that it's possible he has mixed blood (my Gakuto also happens to be mixed, I really wanted to make my Marui pure Japanese). Of course before everybody goes 'what the hell kind of reasoning is that?' at me, I know it doesn't mean anything at all, but hey, I like creating backgrounds for my favorite characters, as they also happen to be the characters I write the most. As for music, I'm still of the belief that Marui plays the drums, this just strengthens it. ;D

5) He and Gakuto both have red as a favorite color. Should I be surprised?

6) Type of girl: A person who gives him things (mainly food) - OMG I LOVE HIM! *dies*

And uhm, that's all. My Marui-muse is still a bit shakey and now I fear I've got to try even harder to make sure my Gakuto and my Marui don't end up being too alike. MP!Gakuto shares Marui's love for food, which is something not shown in canon, so I suppose I should tone down on that a bit. ^^;;

I demand a fangirly LJ mood! =/

I'm sick and tired of hating all the pairings that majority of this fandom loves. Just ONCE, I'd want to actually LIKE one of the fandom's popular pairings to keep me sane.

Edit: On a more positive note, I finally got around to making a [journal banner]. Temporary, I don't really like how it turned out, but I'll keep it for a while, as that border was a bitch to make. The image is from Tsutomu Nihei's oneshot title, Noise, a sort of prequel to Blame!. I loved Noise, it had a great ending, and the art and paneling lends itself well for layout possibilities. I've been meaning to make a layout out of it for years, but alas, all it gets is a journal banner. =/

It's the chibi episode! All cuteness? Probably. I haven't watched it. I did go look for the scene where Fuji shows up though, so I could take caps of it. This is for caillen, because I love you and want to traumatize you some more.
