[media] E3 2006
Jen wanted the higher resolution trailers from IGN's coverage of E3 for a few game titles, so had to upload them to my server. Thought I might as well share to anyone on the flist who'd be interested, since my bandwidth is not being used at all.

Gameplay seems much improved from the original .hack series, thank god! I'm still stuck on the third installment for that, I should probably get around to finishing it already. I still like Haseo, and I love his chainsaw sword, so I'd want to play if only just for that. Besides, I still want to know what was up with Kite in that game preview they released last year. =/ I hope, hope, hope, the battle system is much improved. I couldn't really tell by much how it goes from the footage.

*___* If there was one game slated for the PS3 that I REALLYREALLYREALLY want to play and which I'll be crying over the most when it comes out and I don't have a PS3. Then this would be it. Instead of using pure stealth to reach your target, kill and get away. You instead have to use your environment to your advantage. From blending into the crowd and not calling too much attention to yourself (ie. if you shove people out of the way, they'll react accordingly, and the more attention you call to yourself the less likely that the guards will notice you), to getting the job done and running for your life after the kill. You're also able to interact with some of the citizens and help them in some way, and if you do, they may later on help conceal you after a job is done, or if you don't help, give you trouble afterwards.

Well, who hasn't heard of this already. Not much to say on this game. We already knew it was going to be pretty.
Heavently Sword (PS3) [download] [link]
IGN likened it to God of War. (Which is a good thing!) Wasn't really interested enough to read the articles on it.
Ninety-Nine Nights (Xbox 360) [download] [link]
The graphics are stunning, I'll give it that. Hack and slash taken to a whole new level. My eyes actually hurt a bit after watching this movie. Which is utterly pathetic, I'm not sure why my eyes started hurting with fast-paced gaming. It brought my Dynasty Warriors gaming to a halt. =/
Metal Gear Solid 4 (PS3) [download] [link]
Either you love it or you don't. :P Raiden! ♥ Though I will not be looking forward to this game until I actually finish MGS3, which has been in the backburner since forever.
Rogue Galaxy (PS2) [download] [link]
Might be my pleasant surprise of the year, it may not. Don't really have opinions on this game, so I'll see once it actually gets released and I find the time to play it.
Tekken 6 (PS3) [download] [link]
Where there's Jin, there has to be Hwoarang~.
WarDevil (PS3) [download] [link]
One of the few games running on the PS3's full 1080p res.
I WANT MY [OKAMI]. ;____; US release date so far away.

Thanks for putting these up! Especially since I've paid almost zero attention to all the press release stuff. ♥
What I really want to see is the trailer for FF vs. XIII, but it is not to be found. *woe*
Same here. The versus hero looks hot. *admits to her superficiality* No trailer yet though. =/
And yes. *will admit to superficiality, too* Very, very pretty.
Red eyes! :x
I think it's pretty unlikely they'll have a save file from ...Quarantine, I think the last one was? It'd be nice, though, just as some reward for getting through them all. xD
And not weird, creepy looking ones, either! Pretty, SHINY red eyes. *.*
A reward to getting through all four parts would be nice. Like.. unlocking superpowered up Kite as a playable character in GU! Yea. Still so curious what was up with that preview.
*hopes pretty red eyed bishie is not as annoying as Squall (or Cloud)*
Apparently your PC in GU can transform into a Skeith-ish thing in order to data drain? And all of the eight phases are now you/NPC characters instead of just the boss battles.
*...still hasn't played FFVIII or FFVII but not annoying would be good, yes!*
And now that I am finally home, I will maybe get around to playing DDS2!
Woohoo! Then after that you must play Suikoden V. *nod*
But you would have had lots of fun beforehand! :D
...but then I wouldn't have anywhere to use the PS2 after I got kicked out to the street. :x
*uses raiden icon yet again*
Drags you in getting a Wii and play The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess with me! There are romantic boat trips fishing, and fishing and fighting with the controller seems so much fun (and funny) just watching it! (though the guy in that last link is kind of traumatizing ^^;;)
It's sad that the first thing I think of once Ar Tonelico's official site loads is, "Same composer (Atelier Iris)." So I had to go and search for its composer, and sure enough, both Ken Nakagawa and Daisuke Achiwa worked on the Ar Tonelico OST. Though wasn't very fond of the Atelier Iris OST overall, so it doesn't really make a difference to me.
Spectral Souls II interests me more though, if only because I like huge casts of characters, and they seem to have a handful. Would have been more interested in Blade Dancer if they'd shown more than just 4 characters. Overall, NIS seems to have a promising lineup of games, thanks for the link!
Though seeing all the old-school game types being imported nowadays, I still wish they'd imported Venus and Braves. Such a good game. *__*
I'm already weeping over the cost of the PS3, and the years it will take for me to get one. Unless I win the lottery, a Wii is pretty much out of the question. =(
You might want to check out IGN's article on the Indiana Jones PS3 game, if you haven't already.
And, uh, my last save for MGS3 was dated January 2005 before I finished it yesterday. Better late than never!
P.S. I want Okami, too. :(
OMG. Wtf is that?! Why does it have to sound SO GOOD. *__* I tend to ignore movie-game adaptions, but damn, if the game actually delivers I'd have to pic that title up too.
Was trying to look for my MGS3 disc and couldn't find it anywhere. Though I'm pretty sure I have it... I remember playing it! :/
Might leech others too later.. might, because the files seem... big? @_@
Thanks for sharing though~ *glomps*
You're welcome. Hope you enjoy!
If you want, I can upload the episodes for you. There're only six out so far. (And Tri-Edge is supposed to show up in the next one, eeeeeee!)
It's alright, I can always download via torrent. Just haven't been downloading anything through lack of space. If I somehow can't download, I will bug you to upload! :x
Just lemme know~
