Suikoden 3 makes me giddy! <3

I still have chapter 5 to finish, but ee! I went and peeked at the beginning of chap. 5 and oh I want to keep playing but I really need to sleep. ;_; I did majority of my leveling during chap. 4, but I guess I'll be doing more leveling in chap. 5 before I decide to advance the story. *twitches*

Of the new characters (characters that didn't show up in Suikoden 1 or 2), Percival is a definite favorite, followed closely by Caesar. I like Geddoe the best of the three main characters, and I love his team. ♥

I wasn't able to load a saved game from the previous games since the old memory card which had my GS2 save (w/c also had a GS1 save loaded on it) went poof that time my PSX got busted. bah.

And I should really sleep, but I had to post because

Subs for Yakitate!Japan have not been released yet. WHY!? *frets*

Also, I will kill that damned Kusabi in Fatal Frame II once I'm done with GS3. He's not so much scary as he is annoying. Marathoning Fatal Frame II all night does horrible things to your motor skills. It makes you unable to play right. Honest.

It came out the same day as Bleach and HaruToki, so it's already aired two episodes. T_T I know YeyRaws has put out raws for it, and I think SaiyaMan did too, but there hasn't been a single sub (at least not one that showed up on anime.mirkx). Weep.

Oh! At the moment I'm sharing the Hunter x Hunter live action musical (acted by the seiyuu, circa 2001) in a small community, but I thought of you. It's almost 700mb and fairly low quality, but if you want it I'll drop you the link~

HaruToki's also airing? Wow. I didn't realize I was that out of the loop. As tricianna mentioned, Tactics 1 subs is finally out! I'm still in woe over the lack of Yakitate!Japan subs though... Will nobody give me my bread crack? ;_;

Got the link. Thanks! How long will the file be up? My drive is currently overloaded at the moment and I'm out of CDs and have no time to go out and buy some (-_-) so it might take a while before I can download it.

The second game can normally be had from e-bay, half.com or amazon's marketplace. The prices in half.com and amazon is absurdly high. The cheapest I've seen so far is about $90. Less if you're lucky.

E-bay normally has it priced cheaper, but it depends on how many people bid on it I suppose. *prays that a GenSuiII game falls on your lap*

Percival is just ADORABLE! SQUEEEE!

And Caesar's ability to piss anyone off after meeting them for five seconds is truly amazing. But I have to admit, ALBERT! ALL the WAY! LOVE!

Geddoe is Teh Man! He's just so cool, and his team is just to die for *laughs* (on that nore: the FC! *cries* I wish there was more info on the man).

(mind you I have deep, mad rabu for ALL Silverberg members. it is a thing. it really is. if their surname have Silverberg in it i automatically revert to full fangirl mode. it's quite scary actually).

SPOILERS (for anyone who's not played the game yet)

Percival was just love at first sight. And his snark and humor and easygoing attitude... how can he not win anyone over? &heart; &heart;

Caesar I love for pretty much all the same reasons that he tends to piss everyone else off. And then there's the fact that he's a Silverberg, which just had me in fangirl mode in moments. And then that strategy battle in chap. 4 where Albert spills that they're brothers? The yaoicest fangirl in me just went wild. LOL.

Geddoe's team rocks. Ace and Joker act like an old married couple. And I love that scene between Geddoe and Joker where we find out that Geddoe has the True Lightning Rune.

I'm trying to remember all the Silverbergs in the game... Leon, Mathiu, Odessa... and now Caesar and Albert. Am I missing anyone? Who's their mom/dad? o_O Mathiu and Odessa died right? Or am I remembering my Suikoden history wrong. (So need to replay the first two games to refresh my memory.) As it is, I share your love for the Silverberg family, even if I cannot remember everyone in it.

Yes you do! *waves fists* You can't hide from meee! Have you gotten ahold of Suikoden 1 and 2? Much better if you play all three games. Your love for the game will only grow. Especially since there are always connections between the games, if not directly, then mentioned in passing or in in-game history. So... PLAY.

Well... no actually. I didn't. Friends and I marathoned the game. Took us about three nights total (not consecutive mind you) to finish the game. Well, save for the final boss (in normal mode). It was around 6am in the morning by the time we got to him, and we were tired. And while there were about 5 of us playing, the others were just coaching and watching and only Em and I were the ones playing.

Watch the controller jump from lap to lap depending on who was holding it when a scary ghost appears. ;D

When Em and I first started playing the game it was around mid-afternoon, really bright out still. All the other ghosts we'd encountered beforehand were so-so. Nothing too freaky. And THEN, we went inside this room... cutscene... and then in this box in the far corner of the room.. this Sadako-like lady comes crawling out. Watch us scream our heads off and pause the game.

It's such a fun game, but very unnerving.

Yep, I have all three of the games so far, and I've played quite a bit of the first one and a bit of the second and the third. Yeah, I know. I should go in order and just finish the first one first. >.>; Yes ma'am. Will work on it as soon as I get some free time. ;D

I now read it past the first post (I used to load my friends list and skim down the whole first page without really bothering to read anything) and actually read and pay attention. Sometimes I still don't make it past the first page, but it's a vast improvement. Now I need to update my download list. =/

Ow. So demanding. ;-; I've heard it's difficult to get all 108 stars though, but I'll definitely try. I suppose it makes more sense to finish up Suikoden 1 first. I just finished GenSui III like an hour ago. All I can say is... make sure you play Suiko 1 and 2! Because they're better. ;_; I am fresh in the wake of disappointment. I mourn.

You only disappeared for like 5 months while you were playing MUD.

*cough* How time flies and all that...

It actually feels good to be back (in a way). I've missed pimping stuff out to people. ;D Even if it's about a game with creepy ghosts that most people on my flist would likely skip over. lol.

I'm up to date on very few series'... in fact, I don't think I'm up to date on anything save for Samurai 7. And I've not really been watching much, although I have been downloading, I'm just pretty certain I've skipped an episode here and there.

Wah. I mourn with you. ;-; That's what I've heard from a lot of people about Suikoden 3, but I still wanted to get it for the sake of completion. Don't worry, I'll play them in order. Hopefully Suikoden 4 will be better.

*laughs* I knew you'd miss pimping out to the masses eventually. And public fangirling too. ;3 And I think a lot of people are probably skimming or skipping stuff on their flists lately. Interests are changing. Aside from seiyuu-related stuff or other peripherals, I don't really talk about tenipuri anymore. I am cautiously interested in the whole Hyoutei being in the Nationals thing though. Of course there's really no new fandom that I can grasp onto, so I just like talking about random stuff at the moment, except maybe Death Note, but the fandom itself seems kinda scary.

Oh, that's right, you and your massive disk space. Have you gotten a dvd burner yet? I think it's impossible to be up to date on everything unless you're just watching a couple series. Start with the ones you know you'll like, and burn the rest of them for later. I managed to finish Fullmetal Alchemist this weekend. It was better than I expected.

I'm currently working on Kingdom Hearts, but as of the moment, I'm kind of confused about whether or not to like the game. I am rather impressed at the fact that they managed to pull it off rather well. And while I didn't like 'Leon', I did like Cloud <3 (of course it could be the fact that I didn't like Squall to begin with).

Although my interest has been piqued due to Hyotei being in the finals, it hasn't quite forced to get back to reading the manga just yet. Though I do want to see Gakuto, but other than that, not much else. I'm rather behind in Death Note (stopped when I started mudding and haven't started to read it again yet), so I tend to avoid anything related to it fandom-wise.

No DVD burner. ;_; And no cds. *watches my harddrive explode* I've decided to not burn a lot of series' to CD, although I still continue to follow them. So they clog my harddrive until such time that I get around to watching them. Still behind on FMA. So behind on a lot of things, and it's not like I actually feel like catching up with anything. I'm slowing going through the new season episodes though. I have a bad habit of preferring to read series' I only have a single episode of as opposed to one I already have 1) a number of episode for or 2) completed.

Ah, Kingdom Hearts, another game I have that I've only played a little of. LOL, I'm not surprised that you don't like Leon (I didn't like Squall either). How's the game coming along? Btw, I've been making a some progress in collecting my 108 stars. =3

Eh, my attention is all over the place these days. I can't seem to concentrate on one thing at all. I haven't actually been reading the manga either, except for that chapter where they mentioned Hyoutei being in the finals. >.>;; Meanwhile, Chintsubu is killing me dead. xD

That's probably a smarter choice, since there's stuff I would probably not watch again. I've got a small mountain growing from cds I've burned of everything. Eventually they're gonna take over my place.

Also, not really related, but since you've mentioned twins again recently, it always makes me think of Amiboshi and Suboshi. Now I have this urge to go read fic about them. Probably won't though, because I have no idea where to look, and I fear badfic. >.>

^___^ Which game are you playing? Kingdom Hearts doesn't really interest me much to tell the truth (I just want to play through the whole thing because of Riku and Sora). KH has the honor of being the only game I've ever played from start to finish following a walkthrough. I got as far as Traverse Town before hightailing it to gamefaqs for a walkthrough. I just wanted to get the game over as soon as possible. =/

Also, not really related, but since you've mentioned twins again recently, it always makes me think of Amiboshi and Suboshi.

Boshicest is what actually got me started on my yaoicest obsession, once a long long time ago. lol. I even remember the fic, though I don't recall the title nor the author. It was PWP to say the least, but I was quite the easy to please fangirl back then.

I decided to start from the beginning, so yes, the first one. xD Should really spend more time on it on a consistent basis. It's been like 4 days since I last played. >.>; Wow, is KH really that bad? I got the game for a Christmas present last year, and never really got past the first half hour or so before I put it aside for something else, but I always thought I'd go back to it.

Oh god, I used to read really bad stuff at the beginning too. I blame it on my age and not knowing any better. ^^;; Ah, Boshicest~ nostalgia~~ brings back memories, doesn't it? =D
